Why Harborstay

We're not pretending there's no competition

Cloudbeds, Mews, SiteMinder, eZee / Little Hotelier, Hotelogix, RMS, and Protel are all real, capable products. Here's where we're deliberately different — and where we're honestly not trying to compete yet.

Self-run, not self-serve-in-name-only

Rate plans, seasons, roles, and policies live in your own Settings. Most legacy SE Asia installations route every change through a paid consultant — ours doesn't.

Local compliance, not an afterthought

Thailand's TM30 immigration export ships standard. Global PMS vendors generally treat SE Asia government paperwork as a custom integration, if they support it at all.

Legacy-escaper migration path

We built this specifically to replace an aging system (Hotsoft) in a live hotel — migrating off a legacy PMS is the exact problem we solved first, for ourselves.

Deterministic automation

Pricing and audit logic run on rules and thresholds you can see and change, not a model making calls you can't inspect.

What we're not claiming

We're not the vendor with the most channel-manager integrations on day one, and we won't pretend otherwise — see Migration and Add-ons for exactly what's built-in versus connected through our open API. Our bet is that complete, self-run, affordable, and locally compliant beats "most integrations" for the 20–150 room independent hotel this is built for.

Compare it on your own numbers

Bring your current rate plans and room count — we'll show you exactly how it maps across.
